VOORN ROSES OVERAL VGB WINNER KEUKENHOF ROSE SHOW
Last week was the famous Keukenhof Rose Show. Every year, an amazing product presentation is presented to the trade companies and the consumers. Besides, the awards are given away to the best Roses and Growers of the year 2018.
KEUKENHOF ROSE SHOW 2018 FACTS
- 31.000 Roses ( 2017: 22.000 Roses)
- 550 vases
- 379 cultivars
- 96 Nurseries
The amount of submissions from Kenya and Ethiopia is growing every year. This year three-quarters of the total submissions originate from Africa. There were only a few vases with Roses from Ecuador.

THE OFFICIAL AWARD SHOW
A professional jury by Keukenhof and the VGB-jury gave their opinion and scores. The prizes were awarded during the busy business evening on 12 April.
Dutch Flower Group CEO Marco van Zijverden was honoured to give away the VGB awards. Voorn Roses received the overall award for best nursery. The made a successful change from 1 single rose to a nursery filled with a broad assortment of high quality spray Roses. Ayana was the big winner in the import division.
