SAY NO TO HANGING GERBERAS
Back in the days, many Gerbera cut flowers were supported by metal wires. Now-a-days the high quality flowers stand cheerfully on their own and there is no need for metal wires anymore!
But there is more! Let your customers enjoy your Gerberas to the fullest with these simple tips:
- Store the boxes upside down! Gerberas grow to the light, to prevent them from growing in the wrong way, we always pack the Gerberas upside-down.
- Trim the stem diagonally with a sharp (and clean!) knife.
- Pick a clean (glass) vase and fill it with approx. 7 cm of tap water at room temperature.
- Use cut flower food for a mixed bouquet. You can find the Chrysal Professional products in our webshop.
- Ensure the right ambient temperature (max. 20 °C).
- Do not place the flowers in a draught, in full sun or near central heating.
- Regularly top the vase up with fresh tap water.
