FLORAL WEDDING TRENDS 2019

You have probably heard of the ‘Pantone Color of the Year’, but… Did you know that the Pantone Color Institute also offers advice about the most trending wedding colour palettes for 2019 season?

This year, they partnered up with WeddingWire, a global leader in the wedding industry. We therefore can conclude that the palettes are inspirational, trendy, yet, attainable for an actual wedding setting. Flowers are emotions and colours influence emotions as well. Create the perfect mood that you customer wishes for with the right combination of flowers and colours.

We have added some of our floral suggestions to the mix.

1# LOVE IN BLOOM

‘Love in Bloom’ is comprised of a group of soft and nurturing shades contrasted with a bold fuchsia red, an earthy green and a shimmering silver metallic.

Structural floral installations are making a big impact on 2019 wedding decor, with an opportunity for couples to incorporate greenery and bright pops of colour alongside abstract sculptures in wood or metallic tones.

Additionally, styled grazing tables can incorporate red pops of dried cherries and other fruits to blend seamlessly within the palette. ‘Love in Bloom’ leans to the warm side of the spectrum with its visual portrayal of comfort and enjoyment, affection and contentment. Blending nostalgia with new, Love in Bloom takes an innovative approach to romantic love.

OZ EXPORT’S Flower suggestions:

  1. Soft Pink Peonies
  2. Purple Lathyrus Barcelona
  3. Soft Pink Garden Roses
  4. Rosa West Minister Abbey
  5. Italian Ruscus
  6. Soft Pink Bouvardia
  7. Spray Rose Silver
  8. Scabiosa (pink or purple)

2# GOLDEN HOUR

A palette of easy and uncomplicated honest colours, ‘Golden Hour’ celebrates the physical beauty of nature. The palette has a modern, fresh twist on typically traditional colours, and the addition of a pale gold and copper metallic act as a highlight, enhancing and further increasing the palette’s organic and unconventional appeal.

Warm neutrals in this palette offer the opportunity to incorporate one of 2019’s most popular texture trends: pampas grass, a natural coloured wheatgrass that pairs well with minimalist florals.

Dried flowers give your design a unique touch and vintage bohemian vibe.

OZ EXPORT’S Flower suggestions:

  1. Pampas Grass
  2. Dahlia Café au lait
  3. Rose Lily
  4. Orange Roses like Victorian Secret
  5. Feathers
  6. Bleached and dried flowers
  7. Seedpods
  8. Garden Roses Cream Fragrance
