Floral News (week 39)

Dahlia Market Update

Recent dark and rainy weather in the Netherlands — including a heavy storm — has affected outdoor dahlia production. As a result, the quality of some dahlias is under pressure, production volumes are decreasing, and certain varieties are becoming scarce. This may cause fluctuating prices.

To secure the dahlias you need, please place your special orders in time via your account manager or our webshop.

Ecuador Transport Disruptions

Strikes have broken out in southern Ecuador due to sharp increases in fuel prices. These protests are expected to spread across the country and may cause serious disruptions to transport from growers to the airport.

To avoid delays, we recommend placing your Ecuador orders as early as possible. We are closely monitoring the situation and will keep you updated on further developments.
