BRASSICA IS BACK!

Brassica 10

The Brassica season has started. In September the harvesting started and now the offer is fully available in all colours and shapes.

The best growers now slowly finish their outdoor production, switching to greenhouse availability. Top growers from the north Maatschap Daling and Maatschap Haveman are on full production with their beautiful varieties, of which you can find just a few examples below.

Actually, Brassica is food. It is a genus of plants in the mustard family [botanical: Brassicaceae]. The members of the genus are informally known as cruciferous vegetables, cabbages, or mustard plant. Crops from this genus are sometimes called cole crops—derived from the Latin caulis, denoting the stem or stalk of a plant. Members of Brassica commonly used for food include cabbage, cauliflower, broccoli, Brussels sprouts, and some seeds as in the production of canola oil.

So far, so food. Now we return to their decoration value. Brassica really fills a flower arrangement with its outstanding design and full crop. It will draw anyone’s attention for sure, especially of those who would expect to find this product just in the groceries department of their supermarket! Surprise your customers, buy Brassica.
