OZ EXPORT AT ‘MYPLANT & GARDEN’
In February Milan prepares for the majestic MyPlant & Garden expo. During this expo many leading horticulture professionals come to visit, ranging from well-known florist artists to large international companies. Therefore, MyPlant & Garden is the most important international Business-to-Business (B2B) trade fair in Italy.
MyPlant&Garden focuses on holticulture, urban landscape and garden innovation. Solely in 2019 there were over 20000 participants and 733 exhibitors! Apart from visiting Special Days, of course, we also took a part in it. This stand was, however, in collaboration with the Italian florist school – Le Mani Parlano.

Apart from that, we were also a part of the Holland stand, which was a pavilion with numerous Dutch breeders, for instance – Bredefleur, Dümmen Orange, Ichtus Phalaenopsis, Sonneveld Hydrangea, Special Orchids, Van der Lugt and Vreeken Bouvardia. The arrangements for the stand were designed by Dini Holtrop & Paulus Florales.
Together these professionals have designed exclusive floral arrangements with the products of the various Dutch growers. Opting to play with heights and incorporating natural materials based on the latest trends.

HIGHLIGHTS OF MYPLANT & GARDEN
Italy is famous for dreamy weddings and romantic styles. Therefore, this topic couldn’t be missing during the expo, don’t you agree?! We had a chance to be one of the sponsors for White Sposa and The Real Wedding – wedding designers – together with Chrysal and Coloriginz. Presentations were simply astonishing.
The high-end wedding designers of White Sposa created a cutting-egde design based on the trend Soft Landing. This trend is all about pampering and a creamy colour palette. The ultimate colour that fits in with this style is Living Coral, the Pantone Colour of the Year. The designers incorporated this in the design, by using light pastel coloured Roses, Lisianthus and Phaleanopsis. All flowers with a royal touch and shapes that appear to promise softness.
The stunning presentation of White Sposa.
On the other hand the leading artists of the Real Wedding focused on a rustic romantic style by using a lot of greenery and more dominant colours for a nice contrast. The greenery in combination with the feminine colours have a opulent appearance. All together this setting has a graceful, yet elegant style.

Is it possible to be in Milan and not see a fashion show? This was possible even while being at MyPlant&Garden! The ladies were simply alluring and elegant in the wedding dresses by Elisabetta Polignano. This is not surprising, as her line underlines femininity and strength, while allowing for self-expression. Mori Lee Prom, whose dresses were not any less stunning, has also taken part in the show. The show was also sponsored by numerous breeders, such as Bredefleur, Dümmen Orange, Ichtus Phalaenopsis, Sonneveld Hydrangea, Special Orchids, Van der Lugt and Vreeken Bouvardia.
