NOVELTIES BY TESSELAAR ALSTROEMERIA
TWO NEW VARIETIES AVAILABLE NOW
Rick Tesselaar dropped by this week to show his two new Alstro’s Seattle and Welles.
Tesselaar Alstroemeria goes American with these two varieties.
Both the Astroemeria and the U.S. west coast city Seattle are named after an Indian chief of the 18th and 19th century. Alstroemeria Seattle characterises by a very nice pastel pink colour. The stems and leaves are strong and dark green. The flowers of the test bunch in our office have opened beautifully.
Alstroemeria Welles is named as a tribute to Orson Welles, a famous American actor, director, writer, and producer in last century’s thirties. You might know Orson Welles of the famous 1938 radio broadcast “The War of the Worlds” and and of the film Citizen Kane (1941). Welles is the new heavy white with pink edges Alstro. The dark pink pistil highlights the flower.
OZ Export and Tesselaar Alstroemeria have a long history already promoting Alstroemerias and bringing new and exclusive varieties to the market. In the past years Tesselaar always participated in our ‘Alstrology’-promotions. That is why we endorse these two new varieties.
Starting Monday 29 June both new arrivals are exclusively available at OZ Export. Check our webshop or ask your vendor for availability.Back to overview
