FLOWER PITCH: CELEBRATE TRIFLOR

Triflor are one of the most active Tulip companies in the world. To mark their 50th anniversary they visited OZ Export for a Flower Pitch.

Triflor’s Mark Wester explains a new packaging concept to the sales staff of OZ Export

Breeder Mark Wester is not only constantly active with new Tulip varieties, he is also active in promoting his flowers and the image of Tulips in general to us and to the world. Mark is busy improving his packaging, using special packaging in special sleeves for special customers. This has resulted in a new way of packing Tulips: by 30 stems.

CELEBRATE TULIPS PACKED BY 30 STEMS

The concept is named “Celebrate”, obviously a hint to the 50th anniversary of the company. Celebrate is packing 30 stems in a pack instead of 50. The idea is to make Tulip packs easier to sell for everyone: flower exporter, wholesaler and florist.

Celebrate was presented during today’s Flower Pitch at OZ Export. In front of the entire sales staff Mark Wester showed some examples of the new Celebrate-line. The advantage is clear: easier sales because of smaller sales units. A florist will grab a smaller bunch quicker than a big pack. “The strategy has already proven to be successful on some tests in Germany”, Mark explains. Now ‘Celebrate’ is introduced in the OZ Export assortment.
