THE NERINE’s fairytale
It is said that the Nerine family crossed the seas from South-africa eventually to the Island of Guernsey. The historic ocean story is what has caused the Nerine to be named like that. Her name refers to fifty beautiful daughters of the sea god Nereus. The flower is also known as the Guernsey Lily in the UK.
The characteristic Nerine stands for purity and femininity. Her petals are swirly shaped with ribbons of silver and gold, which gives a little shimmer to her petals. Besides her fragile look, she is the symbol of strong union that can rapidly steal your heart. No wonder why the Nerine her beauty will attract customers to your shop.
